Personal data processing notice

Privacy and cookies

This notice covers browsing lucchimeter.com and contacting LucchiCremona, under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data controller

The controller is LucchiCremona S.n.c., Via Stazione 25, 26100 Cremona, Italy, VAT ID IT01519240194. For information about personal data or to exercise your rights, email info@lucchimeter.com or call +39 0372 491193.

Browsing data and hosting

When you visit the website, the server receives your IP address, the date and time of the request, the address of the page or file requested and technical information about your browser. The website uses a hosting service to make its pages and files available. Technical data may appear in the hosting access and error logs.

The purpose is to serve pages, keep the service working and prevent abuse. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Article 6(1)(f), GDPR). Providing technical connection data is necessary to access the website.

The website code does not include services that analyse visitor behaviour, personalised advertising or profiling tools.

Contacts and quotation requests

If you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to provide: your name, contact details, any company and tax details, delivery destination and the content of your request. We use them to reply, prepare a quotation or provide support.

The quotation form prepares a draft in your mail app: its fields are processed in your browser and are neither sent automatically nor saved in a website database. LucchiCremona receives them only when you send the message. Your browser or mail app may independently manage autofill and drafts.

For quotations, purchases and support, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b), GDPR). For other communications, it is the legitimate interest in responding to your request (Article 6(1)(f)). Any tax and accounting requirements are based on legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

Contacting us is optional. Required form fields help identify your request, reply to you and calculate shipping; you can still contact us directly without completing the form. Requests are not used for newsletters or marketing.

Retention

The website does not archive requests. Data received through the contact channels is used to handle requests and is not retained by LucchiCremona after they have been handled. If a request leads to a purchase, documents needed for the contractual relationship and tax obligations are retained for the periods required by law.

Any technical hosting logs are separate from contact requests: retention depends on the service configuration and applicable obligations, limited to the time needed for operation, security and handling any incidents. You can ask the controller for information about the retention of your data.

Recipients and external services

Data may be processed by people authorised by LucchiCremona and providers of necessary technical services, including hosting and email, in their respective roles under the GDPR. If you make a purchase, necessary details may be shared with carriers, tax advisers and competent authorities where required by law. Data is not disclosed publicly.

Links to WhatsApp and other external websites are activated only when you open them. Further processing is governed by the respective services’ notices.

For information about the location of technical services and any safeguards applied to transfers outside the European Economic Area, contact the controller. Any transfers must meet the conditions of Articles 44 onwards of the GDPR.

Cookies and browser storage

This website’s code does not set cookies or use localStorage or sessionStorage to save data or preferences. It does not use profiling, advertising or visitor analytics cookies. Fonts and images are served by the website, without automatic connections to Google Fonts or external CDNs.

The browser’s ordinary cache stores website files to speed up loading; it is separate from cookies and is not used by the website to identify you.

In this configuration, a cookie consent banner is not needed. The Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines provide for a notice without a banner when tracking tools that require consent are not used.

Your rights

In the cases and within the limits set by Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@lucchimeter.com.

You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or the competent authority in your country. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
